Rockne’s Story
Rockne Ka’ipo Henriques was born and raised in Hawai’i, between Hawai’i Island and O’ahu. Proud alumni of Kamehameha, Rockne moved to Las Vegas in 2007 where he lived for seven years, working at Zappos.com. In 2014, he moved to San Francisco to work in the tech industry as a Recruiter. He spends most of his time traveling, and loves experiencing what life has to offer!
CJ’s Story
Christopher Jon (CJ) Minott was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2010. After working in nonprofit fundraising for 6 years, CJ moved to San Francisco in 2016 to work in events in the tech industry. He’s an avid hiker, camper, and traveler who enjoys any opportunity to get outside, experience new cultures, and live life to the fullest.
Our Story
We matched on Tinder in 2019 and after initial text messages, we officially met on New Year’s Day. We hit it off immediately, bonding over a sushi boat, our love for travel, and our shared family values. In 2020, we welcomed our newest family addition, Katsu, and have decided to take the next steps in building our future together. We got engaged in 2022 (on our anniversary), and now we're getting married!
